First, it is a wonderful office that provides professional support for teachers, community members and others with children and adolescents with cultural sensitivities. Teachers, agencies and people participating in the departments of education and culture are encouraged to become involved so that they can address cultural sensitivities and be leaders in doing so. For example, this office provides information to help teachers, agency and people who have similar work needs to be involved. Although people such as the teachers and the community are encouraged to take up the partnership role, they believe that this experience, knowledge and skills will allow them to address cultural sensitivities that arise as part of the broader issues of health and well-being that these people have with their communities.
