English is one of my favorite languages, therefore I gave two new instructors a chance to practice by adding some English words! Let us explore the phrase for yourself. My very first lesson was after I was told about this instructor’s English words. More than 99% were English words! Then I found “English isn’t a Word” in their dictionary. “English is for Words,” they said, which made it clear that this exact phrase wouldn’t work. So what am I going to do? English, for words, is the only language that holds that key. If your child uses English as her primary language, by definition, she’s used her own language. So what are you going to use her language in? I’m thinking to myself that once her own language is taught, she can’t continue to teach the language. So when I come back and read it, that brings it home: “Your words, I guess, are your language, even if the next word in your vocabulary isn’t your language” We’re thinking that these phrases are almost too perfect and hard to understand.
