A proposal is being put forth to develop an interactive multimedia test to assess the math skills of Canadian computer science teacher Pearson MyLab testees. The proposed test would be used to give students an opportunity to select a math task that encourages application of principles behind math understanding and application of math abilities: understanding, understanding, practicing. Given that the data will be a fair and accurate representation of data on the testing subjects, this study will collect the relevant data. This study will examine the feasibility of integrating the theory and procedure of my mathematics instructor using the Pearson MyLab test. One possibility could be to integrate these instruments to provide students with an experienced mathematician and instructor to understand the principles behind mathematics, before they are exposed to the test, during the course of their instruction. These instruments could utilize “science” and “skill” of my instructor for learning math skills. If this is the case, the test would be an extension to my work in my department, which do not focus on technical or application of theory and practice of mathematics. This study also tests the feasibility of integrating the theories and procedures of my instructor. The Pearson MyLab research team has developed the Interim Series and Interim and Achievable Tests (ICTRIS/AVEES) set of equations measuring proficiency with respect to mathematics.
